World Environment Day 2022 will be held under the theme Only One Earth, highlighting the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature by bringing transformative changes – through policies and our choices – towards cleaner and greener lifestyles. To mark this day, American Corner Pristina will create social media posts throughout the day with facts about the environment, call for action to protect it, and many more. In addition, American Corner Pristina will share the work that environmentalism activists and NGOs from Kosovo and the U.S. do.

Goal(s): The goal of this activity is to promote environmentalism to our social media followers and inspire individuals to create change. By calling our followers to action to support the environment, these posts will encourage our followers to be more active and engaged citizens, which support the U.S. Embassy goal of Rule of Law. The posts will highlight environmentalism in the United States and English language vocabulary related to the environment which will support OAS’s Information about the United States and English Language Teaching and Learning programs.
