This program took young women through the steps they needed to take, including writing a business plan, so they could start their own businesses. This was a ready-made program for American Spaces, which was created by the Smithsonian Institute and its aim was to support and empower aspiring women entrepreneurs by equipping them with the skills necessary to commence their businesses, and give them the opportunity to be participants in the economic development of our country. To see how much this program has helped participants in starting their businesses, American Corner Pristina will mark Global Entrepreneurship Month with a round-table discussion, where the participants of this program will be invited.

Goal/s: This program supports the theme of Employment-Oriented Education and Skills Building to support university students, youth transition into the job market and young-career professional women get the skills necessary to commence with their businesses.

Target audience: Previous participants of “DreamBuilder: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs” program implemented in November 2021
