The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development. Without inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all, countries will not succeed in breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving thousands of children, youth and adults behind.

To mark the day, we will host an Alumni Talk on the topic of “Importance of STEM Education in Kosovo”. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. Innovation leads to new products and processes that sustain our economy. This innovation and science literacy depends on a solid knowledge base in the STEM areas.

Join us for a Facebook Live lively discussion on STEM education, its importance, and the opportunities it presents in Kosovo.

You will also have the chance to learn more about 2021 STEM programs at American Corner Pristina how you can attend them!
