American Corner Pristina is organizing a specialized English language course for 15 staff members of the National Library of Kosovo. This English for Specific Purposes (ESP) course is designed to support librarians and information professionals in enhancing their English communication skills for professional, academic, and digital environments.

Taught by Isabel Leka, 2025–2026 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, the course focuses on the following key areas:

• Functional Workplace English
• Library & Information Services English
• Professional Communication Skills

Dates: October 28, 2025 – February 5, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays | 10:00–11:30
Location: American Corner Pristina
Total sessions: 36 (54 hours)

Participants will engage with American library practices, build professional vocabulary, improve spoken and written communication, and complete real-world assignments, including a portfolio of written work. The course aims to strengthen international collaboration and support professional development in line with U.S. values in education and innovation.
