American Corner Pristina provides several services to its visitors and members.
Photocopying | Visitors and members are allowed to photocopy in the Corner. Users pay a 0.05 € for photocopying per page. Note: Reproduction of materials is regulated by the Law No. 04/L-065 on Copyright and Related Rights, Article 44 “Private and Own Reproduction”. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law. |
Printing | Users pay a nominal fee for printing: - For color printing: 0.10 € per page - For black and white printing: 0.05 € per page Note: Reproduction of materials is regulated by the Law No. 04/L-065 on Copyright and Related Rights, Article 44 “Private and Own Reproduction”. Scanning | Registered members of the Corner may use the scanning device free of charge. However, they must consult the Corner’s coordinator first. |
Borrowing and circulation | Members have borrowing privileges. Please consult How to Borrow to see the availability of the item of interest to you. |
Reference and Information inquires | We provide reference and information inquiry requests on demand either through email or in person. |
Online Catalog | The National Library of Kosovo provides the platform for the online catalog of the American Corner Pristina. |
Electronic databases | Provided by the U.S. Department of State – International Information Programs – Office of American Spaces, eLibraryUSA offers a broad range of resources about American history and culture, science, business, and more. It includes databases of e-journals, e-books, and other e-resources. |
Wireless Internet Access | American Corner Pristina provides free WiFi connection at the Corner. Bandwidth and transmission speed may be affected due to the number of wireless active online users, maintenance, upgrading, or other reasons. Note that our free wireless network is not a secure network. |
