Description:

This four hour workshop will be comprised of introductions to key concepts about understanding domestic violence and its various forms. In addition, the session will also consist of exercises on gender analysis, where participants will analyze how gender norms often promote the use of violence in our society and learn about ways to prevent violence, including primary, secondary and tertiary prevention.

Participants will also discuss at what level the young people can have the greatest impact, and will present various ways that youngsters can be organized and involved in primary prevention. There will also be included the program called Bystander Intervention, to understand what everyone’s role is in preventing violence, even when one is not directly involved.

The trainer of the workshop will present on organizations and institutions of Kosovo working to prevent domestic violence.

And the last part of the workshop will focus on participants developing programs under the aim to prevent domestic violence and followed by participants’ presentation of these plans.

The trainer will supervise the teams all the time.

High School students.
