Julie began her career as a high school English teacher in Ohio. She has since taught English to learners of all ages and trained language teachers in China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and throughout the United States. She recently edited New Ways in Teaching Speaking, Second Edition, a book with over 100 new activities. Julie currently teaches adults in the intensive English program at Lewis & Clark in Oregon and works as an education consultant. She holds a Master of Arts degree in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Science in English and Secondary Education from Kent State University.

Join us at American Corner Pristina for a series of six Facebook professional development sessions for English language students/teachers around the world. At the end of each session, complete a short quiz to earn a digital badge! Series 6 events take place every other Thursday from September 5th through November 14th, 2019!
Topics may include: Digital Literacy, Project-based Learning, and Communicative Grammar Teaching.
Email reminders with links of supporting materials will be sent to registered participants prior to the sessions, so each and every attendee is more informed on the topic that the session is about, and more prepared for the discussion part that takes place after each session ends.
