Jamila Barton - conducted teacher training and taught English linguistics while serving as a U.S. Department of State English Language Fellow in Jordan. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in Applied Linguistics/ESL at Georgia State University with a focus on second language acquisition, literacy, and teacher professional development.

American English Live: Teacher Development Series 6 began on Thursday, September 5!

Join us at American Corner Pristina for a series of six Facebook professional development sessions for English language students/teachers around the world. At the end of each session, complete a short quiz to earn a digital badge! Series 6 events take place every other Thursday from September 5th through November 14th, 2019!

Topics may include: Digital Literacy, Project-based Learning, and Communicative Grammar Teaching.

Email reminders with links of supporting materials will be sent to registered participants prior to the sessions, so each and every attendee is more informed on the topic that the session is about, and more prepared for the discussion part that takes place after each session ends.
